Star bartender Jeffrey Morgenthaler is a known eggnog aficionado, and his famed take on the holiday beverage is now available. He writes, “The tequila-sherry version we’re running went on my menu at Clyde Common back in 2009, but the technique goes back about twenty years and was so unheard of at the time that it’s been immortalized in the New York Times Cookbook of all places. The result is a silky-smooth eggnog that’s slightly boozy and light in texture, not that thick glop you’ve had out of the carton.”
