Trail Blazers’ Jerami Grant Out, Dalano Banton Questionable vs. Lakers

Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant will be out for Thursday’s road matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers due to a face contusion, the organization announced on social media.

Blazers guard Dalano Banton is questionable to play in the contest due to a hip contusion.

Grant sustained the injury during Portland’s 126-122 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday and missed Portland’s last game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.

Banton has missed the last three games due to the hip contusion.

The Blazers tip off against the Lakers at 7:30 p.m. Pacific. It is the first stop on a five-game road trip that’ll run through Jan. 9.
