Trail Blazers’ Deni Avdija, Dalano Banton Questionable to Play vs. Nets
The Portland Trail Blazers released their injury report ahead of Tuesday’s home matchup with the Brooklyn Nets.
For the most part, the update followed the indications that Portland head coach Chauncey Billups provided after Monday’s practice — Jerami Grant is out, Robert Williams III is questionable and Deandre Ayton is available — except Deni Avdija and Dalano Banton joined the injury report as questionable.
INJURY REPORT 1/14 vs. BKN:
OUT
Jerami Grant (Face Contusion)
Matisse Thybulle (R Ankle Sprain)
QUESTIONABLE
Deni Avdija (R Ankle Sprain)
Dalano Banton (Illness)
Robert Williams III (Illness)
Grant will miss his eighth straight game due to the face contusion, while Williams could miss his second consecutive game due to an illness.
The Blazers are scheduled to tip off against the Nets at 7 p.m. Pacific on Tuesday. The Blazers own the NBA’s seventh-worst record at 13-25, while the 13-26 Nets own the NBA’s sixth-worst record.
