Snow removal from city streets, 1954
Today wasn’t quite the snow day that many people were worried about (or hoping for)! Portland has a long, if sporadic, history of snow management. This photo shows a crew removing snow from Portland’s streets, and was taken by the Public Works Administration on January 18th, 1954.
