To the Mayor + Commissioner [?] Council
Dear Sir,
There has been sent me lately as a present from the Native Town of Metlakahtla , Alaska a very handsome good natured little bear by the name of Nammie. Which I would like the City to accept in my stead as a present from it’s sister City in the North. This will I know be pleasing to the donors. If acceptable please notify me and I will send the Bear to the City Park at once.
