Portland Trail Blazers’ Robert Williams Questionable to Play vs. Suns

Portland Trail Blazers backup center Robert Williams III is questionable to play against the Phoenix Suns Monday night at the Moda Center due to right hand soreness, the organization announced on social media.

Portland center Duop Reath and forwards Rayan Rupert and Jabari Walker — who all played for the Rip City Remix Sunday afternoon — are also questionable to play for the Blazers Sunday due to their G League assignments.

Blazers wing Matisse Thybulle is still out with a right ankle sprain.

The Blazers beat the Suns 127-108 at home Saturday night, marking their seventh win in the last eight games. Williams was initially listed as questionable for that matchup, before Portland listed him as unavailable near game time due to the hand soreness. Williams was a available to play in Portland’s two games before the Saturday matchup, but he didn’t check into either game.

The Blazers will tip off against the Suns at 7 p.m. Pacific Monday.
