Portland Trail Blazers’ Jerami Grant Still Out Saturday Against Bucks
Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant will miss his third consecutive game due to a face contusion when Portland plays the Milwaukee Bucks on the road Saturday evening, the organization announced on social media.
INJURY REPORT 1/4 @ MIL:
OUT
Jerami Grant (Face Contusion)
Matisse Thybulle (R Ankle Sprain)
Grant sustained the injury during Portland’s 126-122 home win over the Dallas Mavericks on Dec. 28.
Elsewhere on the injury report, Trail Blazers wing Matisse Thybulle is still out with a right ankle sprain. The defensive specialist sprained his ankle in November as he was ramping up activity to return from an offseason procedure to address inflammation in his right knee.
The Blazers announced Thybulle’s ankle injury on Nov. 26 and gave him a 3-to-6 week timetable for return. Nov. 26 was 38 days ago as of Friday, so it’s been just over five weeks since that update.
