Portland Trail Blazers Assign Yang Hansen to G League’s Rip City Remix

The press release notes that, unlike his previous G League trips, Yang will be available to suit up for the Remix’s next two matchups: Friday against the Valley Suns and Sunday against the South Bay Lakers. Both contests will be road games, and they’ll overlap with Blazers road games against the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks, respectively.

The assignment comes after six consecutive DNP-CDs (Did Not Play, Coach’s Decision). Yang hasn’t played in a game since Blazers backup center Robert Williams III returned to the rotation on Oct. 31 during Portland’s 109-107 win against the Denver Nuggets. Across four appearances this season, Yang has averaged 1.8 points, 0.8 rebounds, and 0.4 blocks in 5.8 minutes per game.
