Pan American Clipper Flight Log, 1948
The flight log of the inaugural Pan American flight from Portland, Oregon to Honolulu, Hawaii on November 27th, 1948. Part of press material collected during Mayor Earl Riley’s administration.

The flyer shows the flight paths of Pan American flights from the mainland US to Honolulu, Hawaii. Flights from LA and San Francisco are illustrated because they were already established, but the path from Portland to Honolulu is drawn in with pen. Flight log also includes written details about the flight, such as the captain’s name, air speed, and weather conditions.
