Oregon Ducks Sunday Game Thread

We have a full day of Oregon sports today, but how and weather (pun intended) that happens remains to be seen.

A huge winter storm has enveloped the Pacific Northwest. It rained all day yesterday, it rained all last night, and it’s going to rain all day today. With softball playing in Seattle, and baseball and lacrosse in Eugene, weather will be a factor today.

Seattle’s weather is projected to have some dry breaks today, which is good news for softball. Eugene’s forecast, however, is nonstop rain, so we’ll see how it goes.

Badwater

Lacrosse vs. Rutgers

When: 12:00 pm PT

Where: Papé Field, Eugene

Oregon and Rutgers are about as evenly matched as you can get. They have identical 5-3 records and are looking for their first conference win, very early in this conference season. Obviously, one of them will come away with their first conference win of the season.

Softball vs. washinton – Game 2 and 3

Game 2 was postponed yesterday due to the aforementioned rain. Game play resumes today in the top of the second inning, with Game 3 to proceed afterwards.

Baseball is looking for another sweep against a conference foe. We’ll see if the weather gods cooperate.
