Milwaukee Bucks Sign Ryan Rollins to 3-year, $12 Million Deal

Free agent guard Ryan Rollins has agreed to a three-year, $12 million deal to stay with the Milwaukee Bucks, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported. The deal includes a player option in the third season.

The Portland Trail Blazers were among a host of teams that showed interest in Rollins on the free agency market, according to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto.

Rollins, 23, averaged 6.2 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 40.8% on 3-pointers in 56 regular-season appearances for the Bucks last season. Those numbers jumped to 10.2 points per game on 45.2% from long distance in Rollins’ 19 starts.

In his report about the new deal, Charania explained the 2022 second-round pick made a bet on himself that is now paying off.

Rollins, a 2022 second-round draft pick to the Golden State Warriors, joined the Bucks on a two-way contract in February 2024 and spent most of 2024-25 on a two-way before receiving a standard deal in March. He opted for a rest-of-season contract instead of a multiyear deal with the Bucks and became an unrestricted free agent. Now, he has been rewarded with a lucrative deal.
