Jerami Grant (Face Contusion)— Trail Blazers PR (@TrailBlazersPR) January 18, 2025
Grant has missed the past nine games with a face contusion suffered in the Blazers’ win against the Dallas Mavericks on December 28. Though missed in the Blazers lineup over the past three weeks, Grant is experiencing a down season.
He’s averaging a relatively disappointing 15.0 points on 38.2 percent from the field and from the three point line as well as 3.9 boards, 2.3 assists, 1.0 blocks and 0.9 steals.
Fellow forward Deni Avdija is doubtful for the Rockets as he deals with a right ankle sprain, which appears to be the Blazers’ Achilles heal at the moment. Matisse Thybulle is out as he returns from a right ankle injury while rookie Donovan Clingan is dealing with a left ankle.
The Blazers host the Rockets tomorrow night at 7pm before welcoming in the Chicago Bulls the following night at 6pm.
