Blazers’ Scoot Henderson, Jerami Grant Questionable to Play vs. Lakers

Portland Trail Blazers players Scoot Henderson, Jerami Grant and Robert Williams III are all questionable to play Thursday at home against the Los Angeles Lakers, the organization announced on social media Wednesday evening.

Blazers center Deandre Ayton and wing Matisse Thybulle are both out for the contest.

INJURY REPORT 2/20 vs. LAL:

OUT

Deandre Ayton (L Calf Strain)

Matisse Thybulle (R Ankle Sprain)

QUESTIONABLE

Jerami Grant (R Knee Soreness)

Scoot Henderson (R Ankle Sprain)

Robert Williams III (R Knee Soreness)

After practice Wednesday afternoon, Portland head coach Chauncey Billups was optimistic Henderson, Grant and Williams would be available to play Thursday, but he stopped short of making it a guarantee.

“I think all of them are playing,” Billups said. “But again, a lot can happen. I’m not stamping that.”

Henderson missed one game before the break — as well as Friday’s Rising Stars Challenge — due to a right ankle sprain. Grant and Williams missed the last two games in Denver before the break. Both players have been dealing with right knee soreness.

The Blazers will tip off against the Lakers Thursday at 7 p.m. Pacific.
