So, we’re looking northeast-ish with NE 12th at the bottom running past the tennis courts–you can see a corner of Benson HS visible on the left. The diagonal road upper right is NE Sandy, and to the upper left the NE 21st Bridge over I-84.
Buckman is named for Cyrus Buckman, an orchardist and proponent of education who arrived in Oregon in 1867.
