Oregon Ducks Acrobatics And Tumbling Falls At Baylor

Oregon Acrobatics & Tumbling finished their regular season last Saturday against the top team in the nation – the undefeated Baylor Bears. The crowd of 2,351 fans made this the largest crown in National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) history.

The Ducks scored their second perfect 10 in the Pyramid of the season (the first 10 was also against Baylor earlier in the season). It should be noted that Baylor scored all 10s in the Pyramid; they are just that good and that hard to beat.

Oregon last competed against Baylor on Feb. 22nd in Eugene, losing by 10.850 points. While they trailed in all segments of Saturday’s match, they were far more competitive with a point difference of just 4.490.

“There’s so much to be proud of today,” head coach Taylor Susnara said. “Lots to be proud of, and some little things we could have done better. That puts us in a good position to know what to work on heading into National Championships.”

With the end of the regular season, that comes next. Oregon A&T now awaits their seeding for the 2025 NCATA Championships, which begins on April 24 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
