Highlights: Cavs, Thunder, Sixers Get Wins Friday Night

It was a quiet Friday night before Christmas across the NBA, but there were players stirring in three houses. Let’s take a look at what happened with some Friday Night Videos. But first, our opening credits.

And now back to the games.

Cavaliers 124, Bucks 101

Coming off Milwaukee’s victory in the NBA Cup Final, which did not count in the standings, they lose by 23 in a game with playoff implications that does count. Damian Lillard sat due to a right calf strain.

Thunder 104, Heat 97

In the closest game of the night, OKC led all night, and deftly held off the Heat down the stretch. After a disastrous three-point shooting night against the Bucks a few days ago, they were back to hitting 41.2%, which makes the modern game much easier, especially when Miami hits 30%.

76ers 108, Hornets 98

Philadelphia continues to claw their way back toward the play-in spots, as Joel Embiid scored 34 points in 31 minutes in a relatively easy victory.

The NBA has a much larger slate of games Saturday. This includes the Portland Trail Blazers, who will play the San Antonio Spurs at 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time.
