2024 Oregon Volleyball – Where Are They Now?

Oregon volleyball coach Matt Ulmer delivered a bit of a shocker to Oregon volleyball fans at the end of the 2024 season, when he announced that he was taking over at Kansas with the retirement of legendary coach Ray Bechard. What followed in Oregon volleyball was not unlike when Mike White left Oregon softball for Texas: virtually the entire team vanished and joined other teams, with the sole returning player being 5-2 Sr. DS Maya De Los Reyes. We take a look today at who left for where.

Oregon had seniors who graduated and would not have been returning anyway, including Daley McClellan, Onye Ofoegbu, Michelle Ohwobete, and Mackenzie Morris.

Roberta Purashaj was a 5-11 Jr. setter last season. I was not able to find any news on where Purashaj may have ended up. She is from Italy and she may have traveled back to Europe, but that’s purely speculation on my part.

5-11 Fr. OH Bella Gamache was listed on the 2024-25 beach volleyball team, but I don’t see her on any rosters after that.

6-1 So. MB Mia Tvrdy transferred to USC.

6-1 R-So. OH Sophie Gregoire joined with the Pitt Panthers.

5-11 So. OPP Bridget Gould moved 45 minutes up the road with Oregon State.

5-11 So. S Evelina Georgianni is now with the University of North Florida.

5-11 R-So. S Cristin Cline followed Ulmer to Kansas.

6-3 R-Sr. MB Colby Neal and 6-2 Jr. OPP Noemie Glover both went to Arizona State. That they’re both on the same team doesn’t strike me as a huge surprise. On the couple of occasions when I saw them at local stores in Eugene, I saw them together, and they looked like pretty good friends to me.

Also, Colby’s younger sister Jillian is with the Sun Devils.

Finally, Oregon star 6-3 Sr. OH Mimi Colyer is with the Badgers.
