Oregon Ducks Football Poll: 2025 Autzen Home Games
It is almost July, meaning season previews are in full swing. It’s time to start planning around Saturdays in the Fall, in particular those at sacred Autzen. Here is a break down of the Ducks’ home schedule for 2025.
Montana State – August 30
An FCS “body-bag” game usually means the only excitement comes from the fact it is the first competitive football we are seeing in eight months. But with uncertainty along the offensive line and last year’s Idaho game in our memories, could the FCS runner up Bobcats provide more drama?

Oklahoma State – September 6
He’s a man! He’s… actually he’s 57 now. Coach Gundy will bring Oklahoma State to Eugene for the first matchup between the schools since the Holiday Bowl following the 2008 season. The Cowboys have been a solid and stable program for much of Gundy’s tenure. But they are coming off a an extremely disappointing season and there is legitimate doubt if the current staff can rebound.

Oregon State – September 20
The annual game against OSU (no, not that one… or them either, that the was the last game) will return to Autzen for the first time since Oregon left the Pac-12. The conference transition has not been kind to the Beavers, as last year’s match up in Corvallis wasn’t particularly close in the end. Has Bucky sharpened his teeth in the year since?

Indiana Hoosiers – October 11
Indiana was one the most pleasant surprises of the 2024 season. New head coach Kurt Cignetti and a core of transfers stormed through a manageable schedule and landed a playoff berth. The Hoosiers won’t surprise anyone this season, but long term Oregon fans still wake up screaming at night remembering the 2004 game between these teams.

Wisconsin Badgers – October 25
The Badgers and the Ducks have a long history of close games against one another. Last year’s matchup in Madison was no exception. Will the rematch in Eugene continue the trend?

Minnesota Golden Gophers – November 14
Minnesota coach PJ Fleck was considered by some observers to be a small-list candidate for Oregon several times when the Ducks had a head coaching vacancy. Given how Minnesota has done recently, I don’t think anyone feels Mullens missed out on him. Could his team change our minds under the Friday night lights?

USC – November 22
Ahh, that’s more like it! A traditional west coast showdown for Senior day in late November. Will this have conference title implications? Will all the USC players who had offers from the Ducks think “Winning in the rain seems like more fun than losing in the sun”?
